Sound artist Duncan Chapman has been leading a series of workshops in Greenhead College with A level music students, exploring the sounds of school dinners and packed lunches by animating nutrients and proteins through the software programme Audio-Mulch. The sessions have consisted of a series of experiments (‘don't play with your food!!’) exploring sounds we can get from food, the composition of food, nutritional aspects of the food we eat and collecting responses from people to various foodstuffs.

You can hear (and possibly eat) the results at an outcome event on Tue 20 Nov.
